In a world already filled withsheep-eating plants, it shouldn’t come as a total shock, but it is super weird that researchers havebuiltcyborg spinach. TheLittle Shop of Horrors-esque process involves scientists inserting tiny little tubes into the part of spinach responsible for photosynthesis, giving it the ability to detect chemicals in the surrounding air.
