Drink: not actually closed.
We saw some rather unsettling news this morning, in the form ofa tweet从祝你有个好胃口restaurant editor (and perennialIron Chef Americajudge) Andrew Knowlton: “WOW. Just heardDrinkin Boston (one of america’s best cocktail spots) closed before XMAS cause it lost lease. After only 2yrs? Bummer.” Wait, really?
We thought,How could this be? That place is great!Oops! Turns out there’s no truth to the rumor. Drink’s alive and well and serving up Ramos Gin Fizzes just as they’ve always been. Knowlton later tweeted that the “friend” who started the rumor might have had it confused with some bar in Seattle. Which, like, phew!
