Yes, it’s been almost three years since Michelin inspectors last went through and bestowed three stars onJoël Robuchonin Las Vegas (they discontinued the guide after the ‘09 edition), but todayChroniclecritic Michael Bauer wants everyone to know that those stars are no longer valid! Writingon his daily blog, Bauer rips into a recent meal there and says he was “truly disappointed” with his “no-star dinner” at the restaurant last week. “No dish blew me away,” he complains, and, to use a phrase adored by Yelpers, “the flavors were just OK.” Also, he was appalled with the tackiness of hanging celebrity photos on the walls.Divorcedcelebrities like Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, no less! “Are we at the Palm?” he wonders. Ouch. No wonder Michelin skipped town. And, psh, whatever withLas Vegas having better food than New York in Zagat.
