First Looks at Lobster Joint and Luke’s Lobster Financial District
It really is the time of year for lobster launches: We told you about thelatest roll vendorearlier today, and just hours ago, Lobster Joint announced it’s opening in Greenpoint. You can see some interior shots and the menu by chef Justin Ernsberger (formerly executive chef ofWalter FoodsandMermaid Inn, and a consultant atLure Fishbar) by visiting itsFacebook page. Meanwhile, check out our slideshow of the fifth Luke’s location (that count includes therecent truck) and you’ll see the beach-shack aesthetic is in full effect here, with the addition of a takeout window for lobster rolls. Lobster Joint is open till 2 a.m., but Luke’s is keeping earlier hours: It’ll be open weekdays from 10:30 a.m. till 9 p.m., and (initially) from noon till 8 p.m. on weekends. The menu is below; beer is “coming soon.”
