First Look at Marble Lane, Opening Tonight in the Dream Downtown

While we await the “neurogastronomy” ofRomera New York, the Dream Downtown’s other eatery, Marble Lane, opens this evening. As you can see in our slideshow, steakhouse-classic tufted leather booths are lightened by elements like potted trees and baubles suspended from the ceiling, for a sleek effect. The menu by former Top Chef Manuel Treviño riffs on steakhouse classics and roves across global beefy traditions. You’ll find everything from an “L.E.S. Romanian skirt steak,” to the chef’s take on carne asada to a “porterhouse pizzaiola for 2.” For now, it’s dinner only (with breakfast and lunch on the way): Hours are 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Tuesday and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Full menu below, and see our slideshow for a look at the space and the food.
