Jo’s, which opened in Nolita this summer with Ian Topper-Kapitan at the helm, has “announced” its new executive chef, Colin Kruzic. Actually Kruzic, who was most recently chef de cuisine atJamesand has also put in time atBouleyand Maremma, has been in the kitchen for more than a few months. We’ll pass on the announcement, though, if only because his “jerky and slap” special (his jerky of the moment plus a Porkslap beer) is further proof of the currentjerky craze.
