Yes, the Mud Truck hasreturned to Astor Place, and there’s still more news in the realm of mobile java: According to Free Williamsburg, some vets fromGimme Coffeehave built a bicycle that carts around a box filled with iced coffee from Gimme,Café Grumpy, and perhapsStumptownandBlue Bottle(whatever they think are “the best NY coffees going on” at the moment). The box can also be turned into a pour-over bar for Chemex brewing. It’ll debut at theArtists & Fleasfair in McCarren Park on Saturdays but, pending a license, may go fully mobile soon.
