Vinegar Hill House,Freemansspinoff (co-owner Jean Adamson was the former chef and Sam Buffa owns the barbershop) north of Dumbo, is opening a private dining room in the cellar. Buffa tells us that parties of ten to twelve can fit in the room, which has a fireplace. Diners get a $40 prix fixe that includes “shared apps served family-style, choice of two entrées, sides served family-style, followed by choice of dessert.” The private room is available Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; the room is opened up for extra seating on Fridays and Saturdays.
