Meet the Brunch Sandwich of Your Dreams at MeMe’s Diner

By

It’s time to get excited about … meatloaf? AtMeMe’s Diner, partners Bill Clark and Libby Willis have put together a menu full of foods that you’ll recognize, but they calibrate and update everythingjust enoughto make it feel fresh and exciting. (They also kick off each meal with complementary cheese puffs or cereal, which is nice.) The best example of the duo’s approach may be their meatloaf sandwich, a brunch staple that features a Texas toast–size slab of garlic bread, sautéed greens, a wobbly egg, homemade barbecue sauce, and of course, the homemade meatloaf. Watch the video above to see why Grub’s own Alan Sytsma thinks it’s the must-have dish to start a weekend afternoon.
